StrengthsA simple and fast way to categorize stakeholders. An advantage is that stakeholders themselves can recognize the categories created by themselves.
WeaknessesAs this is based on perceptions of the individual stakeholders, a drawback of this method is that respondents placed stakeholders in different categories, making categories less meaningful (Reed et al. 2009; Hermans, 2005).
